The Hudson Community Youth Chorus and Hudson Community Children's Chorus welcomes all students from Hudson and the surrounding communities who love to sing and have an interest in developing their vocal skills.
Non-audition voice assessments are held for new singers. Our Youth Chorus works on expanding vocal range and technical skill, sight singing and ear training. We work as a team to perform a diverse and challenging selection of repertoire, and collaborate with our adult choir and perform in the community. Our Children's Chorus works on singing fundamentals through music games and friendship. Singers will learn to sing in head voice and will be introduced to solfege and sight singing as well as perform in the community in two main concerts a year.
Fees are $120 per year. All fees are due at the start of each term. Scholarships are offered so that all interested singers are able to join the choir regardless of ability to pay.
Children's Chorus Rehearsals are held on Monday's from 5:00 to 6:00 at Christ Church Episcopal, 21 Aurora St, Hudson
