Adult Chorus

Hudson Community Chorus   (HCC) consists of an adult chorus that sings a wide variety of SATB music.  They present two concerts a year in December  and May and they rehearse once a week on Tuesday evenings.  Their rehearsals are held from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  in the choir room of First Congregational Church, 47 Aurora St., Hudson, Ohio. The chorus offers singers of all levels of ability and experience the opportunity to perform quality choral music in a friendly and supportive environment.  No audition is necessary. Members are invited to audition for the smaller chamber ensemble that performs in each concert. 

Mondays 
Children's Chorus    5:00 to 5:45 p.m.
    Youth Chorus    6:00 to 7:15 p.m.

Hudson Community Youth Chorus (HCYC) 
is a treble choir performing ensemble for girls in
grades five through twelve and boys grades five through voice change. Rehearsals are on Monday evenings from 6 to 7:15 p.m. and are held in the Sanctuary of Christ Church Episcopal Church, 21 Aurora St, Hudson, Ohio.  HCYC focuses on teaching singers healthy vocal technique, sight singing skills, music theory, singing in two and three part harmony in English  and foreign languages both accompanied and a cappella.  Auditions are held for new singers in May,  January and August. HCYC performs concerts in December and May, with the Hudson Conservatory of Ballet's Nutcracker, Carolng on the Green and numerous outreach concerts in the Hudson area.

       
Hudson Community Children's Chorus  (H3C) 
is a non-audition entry level group where young singers in grades three, four and five  learn the fundamentals of choral singing. We develop vocal tone and accurate pitch combined with the basics of singing with others in unison and two-part harmony. Singers learn repertoire in English and foreign languages.
H3C  performs concerts in December and May with the Hudson Community Youth Chorus and the Hudson Community Chorus.  The group also performs in two to three outreach concerts a year, with the Hudson Conservatory of Ballet's Nutcracker and the annual Caroling on the Green in Hudson.
